The Venue
I have been extremely blessed to provide my floral services to multiple couples choosing this stunning venue in the heart of Chichester, Edes House. If you are seeking a beautiful, listed building for your special day you can view their website here: Edes House
Inspiration for Wedding Flowers:
The couple chose Jewel tones as their main colour palette for this wedding so we started looking at vibrant colours, contrasting tones and focal flowers that can pop! This was a micro wedding (less than 50 people) so we chose compact wedding posies tied with a classic satin ribbon for both the Bride and Maid of Honour. As the wedding was during Peony season we just HAD to include these gorgeous, bountiful blooms which featured in both bouquets in White and Cerise.
Behind the scenes | Sustainable Wedding Florist |
the importance of sustainable floristry has become increasingly pronounced and as a relatively new business within the floral sector, we want to ensure we are introducing eco friendly methods in all of our floral arrangements. This practice will extend to our wedding clients, as you see in our image (right) we can use reusable vessels that hold water, chicken wire to help create structure for stems and soaked moss to disguise mechanics.
